Wellbeing of the Future is an interactive art installation showcasing the top thematic visions of San Mateo County 50 years from now — co-created by youth throughout the City through the Futures Commission's intergenerational design challenge series.

Rooted in speculative governance and community foresight, these scenarios invite us to imagine a county that has moved beyond crisis response to transform the root causes of distress — and to ask: what would it take to get wellbeing right, for all of us, for generations to come?
