Shifting Views
by Myrna Ehrlich
Opening Reception: Nov 6, 5pm - 7pm
Closing Reception: Jan 3, 3pm - 5pm
Shifting Views is an art installation that invites passersby to notice, pause, and engage the space in their own way. Made with repeating geometric shapes and multiple mirror elements, the artwork subtly responds to movement and perspective, making something new for each viewer rather than telling a predetermined story. In the mirrors, the viewer is both observer and subject, and the current artwork exists only in this moment.
Myrna Ehrlich works at the intersection of mathematical logic, architecture, and tactile space. Based in Cupertino, California, her background in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Architecture shapes a practice where structure meets discovery. Translating digital vector paths into physical forms, Ehrlich plays with light, space, and perspective—inviting viewers into an open-ended dialogue that turns casual observation into a personal experience of movement, reflection, and curiosity.
