College of San Mateo Design Showcase
Opening Reception: Nov 6, 5pm - 7pm
Explore a diverse selection of work by College of San Mateo design students, featuring scientific illustrations, vibrant vinyl album covers, and one-of-a-kind laser-cut clocks. From research and sketching to design development and final production, students engage in every stage of the creative process, bringing their ideas to life through thoughtful and innovative design.

The College of San Mateo Graphic Design program prepares students for careers and further study in visual communication. Students develop skills in typography, graphic design, AI, industry-standard software, and hands-on design through real-world projects. The program offers an Associate Degree in Graphic Design and a Graphic Production Certificate, preparing students for entry-level employment or transfer to a four-year institution. As part of CSM’s interdisciplinary Digital Media program, students explore design across print, packaging, signage, environmental graphics, web, social media, and motion graphics.
