Where Imagination walks beyond function and every shoe tells a story”

In Corinne's Shoezeum, I transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Each sculptural shoe begins with a theme–a spark that shapes its story.Through the assemblage of found objects and unexpected materials,I blur the line between function and fantasy. What once served a purpose now embodies imagination. Every shoe becomes a reflection of transformation, inviting viewers to journey through a world where art and design walk hand and hand.

Corinne Friedman grew up in Rochester, New York, and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts and the San Francisco Art Institute. Her award-winning, one-of-a-kind sculptural shoes transform functional footwear into imaginative works of art. Her work has been exhibited throughout the Bay Area, including at the Fresno Art Museum, the Pacific Art League, San Mateo City Hall and Library, the Sebastopol Center for the Arts, and in a solo show at the Oshman Family JCC. She also participated in Silicon Valley Open Studios for ten years and published a book of her work titled Artful Shoes.
