To mark the one-year anniversary of our opening at the historic Hotel Sequoia, the Center for Creativity proudly presents Transformations—an exhibition featuring ten San Mateo artists who celebrate the spirit of our dedicated volunteers.

This collection explores the inherent fluidity of life, identity, and materiality. Through a diverse range of artistic mediums, these creators examine the quiet passage of time and the profound endurance of the human spirit. From intimate reflections on personal identity to expansive works that touch on something larger than oneself, the exhibit serves as a bridge between our individual stories and our collective connection.
