It’s in the Details: an exhibition of original poems and collage artwork by San Mateo County youth

This exhibition is the culmination of a two-day workshop at the Center for Creativity. The Youth Poetry & Collage Project brought together 16 middle and high school students from 12 schools across San Mateo County. During the program, students explored creative expression through both writing and visual art, guided by accomplished poets Antonio Lopez, San Mateo County Poet Laureate, and Chloe Chou, the 2025 California Youth Poet Laureate. The collage workshop was led by local collage artists who guided students through the artistic process.
This Center for Creativity project was made possible through a grant from the Redwood City Arts Commission, in partnership with the Redwood City Public Library and the San Mateo County Office of Arts & Culture.
