Exhibition Statement: “The Center for Creativity invites the public to participate in Free Art, a community-driven exhibition where visitors are welcome to take art, donate art, or simply enjoy the exhibition. From January 8 to March 1, 2026, the Safe Box Gallery will serve as an open exchange for art created by an artist’s hand—paintings, drawings, collages, prints, small sculptures, handmade books, zines, poems, and more (no reproductions, please).
To fit inside the Safe Box, 2D works must be no larger than 19 inches high by 11.5 inches deep; 3D works under 3 inches in height fit best. Both framed and unframed works are welcome. As space allows, larger sculptures may be placed on top of the Safe Box. Donated artwork cannot be reclaimed, and remaining pieces will be saved for future Free Art events or donated to our neighbor, Saver’s Thrift Store.
By offering art freely, the Center for Creativity furthers its mission to make diverse cultural experiences accessible to all while nurturing a vibrant, connected creative community. We hope you discover a piece you love—and that this experience inspires you to support artists and their work in the future.
