Public art created by young people builds pride and connection—giving youth a voice in shaping how downtown Redwood City looks and feels. Join us to celebrate the creativity our community brought to life!
Sequoia Alley Youth Murals Since 2019, Sequoia Alley has become an outdoor gallery of youth creativity. In 2025, local schools and youth groups created ten new murals, transforming the alley into a colorful community landmark.
Youth Community Mural Inside the Center for Creativity Students ages 14–24 worked with artist Elizabeth Gomez to create 28 panels imagining the future of the arts. Over 100 youth and community members participated in painting workshops, bringing this vibrant mural to life in the Eureka Gallery Studio.
Refreshments and Prizes Enjoy light refreshments and scavenger hunts at both locations, with prizes for participants!
