Growing Hope: Drop-In Hands On Workshop
Gardens are powerful metaphors. Gardens feed us - literally and aesthetically. And gardens have inspired art and artists through the ages. But gardens take work. These days, Growing Hope can feel like a full time job. But it’s one of the best jobs there is. Growing Hope is about actively planting seeds of creativity, joy, kindness, thoughtfulness and beauty in the world for everyone to see.
Come join this artist-led workshop to create a gift for yourself or someone you care about on Saturday, December 12th, anytime between 10 am - 2 pm, during the Redwood City Hometown Holidays celebration. Design your own Growing Hope seed packet and take California wildflower seeds home to spread that hope far and wide.
All materials–and seeds–will be provided. This event is free & open to the public.
Note: This workshop will be offered by artist/collaborators Sue Bianchi, Kevin Daniels and Barbara Kibbe. While you’re making your own hope-filled seed package, you can enjoy their exhibition Growing Hope in the CfC Eureka Gallery.
